Practicing the physical and meditative exercises that I teach from September 19 to 22 in presence and online will lead the practitioner to experience the violet light. The universe is filled with violet light, it is a wisdom light and it interconnects the entire universe like the nervous system in our bodies. Connecting to this light we receive the answers and knowledge for healing ourselves.
The practices of these basic energy meditation classes include various spinal cord exercises, powerful energetic breathwork, healing organ sounds, meditation techniques such as the inner smile, energy circulation, and other exercises to achieve greater balance, harmony, and transformation within oneself. These practices aim to cultivate and refine one’s life force energy, known as “Qi,” and to harmonise the body, mind, and spirit.
Spinal Cord Breathing is a technique that involves a specific way of breathing that focuses on the spine and the movement of Qi along the spinal column. This technique helps cleanse, revitalize, and circulate energy throughout the body. It’s combined with visualization and awareness of the breath and energy flow.
Six Healing Sounds
The healing organ sounds, namely The Six Healing Sounds, are ancient Taoist practices that involve making specific vocal sounds while performing certain movements and breathwork. These practices heal and harmonize the body’s internal organs, emotions, and energy systems. The Six Healing Sounds are closely associated with Traditional Chinese Medicine and follow the Creation Cycle to help organs circulate energy properly.
Inner Smile Meditation
The Inner Smile Meditation is a Taoist meditation practice that involves directing positive and loving energy toward oneself through a metaphorical “inner smile.” This meditation is one of the most important contributions of Master Chia to the Western World. It involves visualization, conscious breathing, and focusing on the inner organs while generating positive emotions.
Powerful Qigong Practice
The Three Fires is a Qigong exercise designed to combine the energies of the Lower Dantian, the Kidneys, and the Heart, into one energy behind the navel.
The lower Dantian is the original source of energy and the center of gravity in the body. It can well be described as ‘the root of the tree of life.’ It is the seat of one’s internal energy (Qi). The Kidneys carry the jing, the essential substance that we inherit from our parents at the moment of our conception. Most of the body’s functions, such as digestion, assimilation, and sexual functions, rely on the kidney qi. The heart energy is where the “spirit” (shen) resides. In general, Heart shen is equal to an individual’s overall vitality, which is often observed through the complexion, eyes, and responses. This indicates the quality of a healthy Heart spirit.
The energy accumulated from these three fires turbo-charges the overall energy and prepares us for the Microcosmic Orbit meditation.
Microcosmic Orbit
Microcosmic Orbit is an energy meditation introduced to the West by Master Mantak Chia, and is one of his signature teachings. It is an energy cultivation practice that involves guiding and circulating energy through specific pathways in the body. This meditation is a fundamental practice in Taoist Inner Alchemy, aimed at harmonizing and balancing the body’s energy flow for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
The term “microcosmic orbit” refers to the idea that the human body is a reflection of the greater cosmos, and by cultivating and circulating energy within the body, one can attain greater alignment with the natural rhythms of the universe. The Microcosmic Orbit Meditation aims to harmonize and balance the body’s energy, promoting physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual growth. It’s important to practice this meditation with a relaxed and focused mind.
Inner Alchemy of Healing Love
It focuses on transforming and harmonizing sexual energy to enhance health, vitality, and spiritual growth and aims to cultivate and refine sexual energy. It emphasizes techniques for harnessing and cultivating sexual energy rather than dissipating it. This involves learning to separate orgasm from ejaculation for men, a practice often called non-ejaculatory sex. Taoist philosophy places significant importance on balancing yin (feminine) and yang (masculine) energies within the body.
Sexual Alchemy is also integrated with other Taoist practices, such as the Microcosmic Orbit Meditation, and Six Healing Sounds from the previous week, to create a comprehensive energy cultivation and well-being system. Another important exercise when practicing sexual energy cultivation is the grounding work of Iron Shirt Qigong I. In this course we practice two of the main grounding practices of Iron Shirt Qigong I.
While Taoist Sexual practices have physical and health benefits, they can also be seen as a path to spiritual growth and enlightenment in Taoist philosophy. Practitioners can attain higher levels of consciousness and connect with the Tao, the ultimate source of all existence, by refining and directing sexual energy.
Cultivating Male Sexual Energy Multi-Orgasmic Man Cultivating Male Sexual Energy practice aims at non-ejaculatory practices. Men train in techniques that allow them to experience sexual pleasure without ejaculating. The idea is to separate orgasm from ejaculation to conserve and circulate sexual energy within the body. In this way, semen is retained, and sexual energy is harnessed, transmuted, and circulated throughout the body’s energy channels. Testicle Breathing and testicle massage practices are essential to solo male cultivation. By consciously engaging with testicles, male individuals can promote vitality, well-being, and spiritual growth.
Cultivating Female Sexual Energy Multi-Orgasmic Woman The first practice to empower and cultivate sexual energy in women is Ovarian Breathing, a technique that can reduce menstruation duration, reduce cramps, and concentrate more life-force energy into the ovaries, enhancing sexual vitality. The second practice, the Orgasmic Upward Draw, can be practiced individually or with a partner. Proficiency in this practice can lead to experiencing a total body orgasm that surpasses the conventional vaginal orgasm, all while preserving life-force energy. In addition to these practices there are two more preparatory practices. The first involves the use of a jade egg. This exercise serves to fortify the urogenital, pelvic diaphragms and vagina, as well as the glands, tendons, and nervous system. The second is breast massage, which transforms sexual energy into QI, activates the gland system, and increases the energy flow to the breasts, thereby helping to break down congestion to support breast health in the future.
