ONLINE TanTien Qigong, Foundational Practice – November 23
Tan Tien Qigong is one of the Taoist Qigong practices used to develop Tan Tien and Perineum power. We need Chi and Chi pressure in the Tan Tien as a foundation for most of our Universal Tao practices, especially for Iron Shirt and Tai Chi Chi Kung, and meditation. The lower Tan Tien is the main energy reservoir in the body. It is the place where we store the energy we generate, gather and absorb in Qigong and meditation. If the energy is stored in the Tan Tien it can be accessed later, if not the Chi dissipates and cannot be used. The Tan Tien is therefore also called the Ocean of Chi.
ONLINE Elixir Qigong, Foundational Practice – November 24
Golden Elixir, also known as nectar, is the fountain of life or water of life. This is a mixture of saliva, other hormonal fluids and external essences that, when mixed, becomes the Elixir. Taoists believe that this Elixir is a major transformer for the higher spiritual work, and has the power to heal any diseases. Some Taoist texts recommend swallowing the saliva up to 1,000 times a day for spiritual work and healing.
