What You Will Learn

Golden Elixir, also known as nectar, is the fountain of life or water of life. This is a mixture of saliva, other hormonal fluids and external essences that, when mixed, becomes the Elixir. Taoists believe that this Elixir is a major transformer for the higher spiritual work, and has the power to heal any diseases. Some Taoist texts recommend swallowing the saliva up to 1,000 times a day for spiritual work and healing.

Saliva is recognised by Western scientists to be “an extremely complex fluid containing a huge array of substances that have the potential of affecting many aspects of the life of an individual mammal.

Taoists regard the saliva, the fountain of life, the Golden Elixir, to be mixed with hormones. When the saliva tastes sweet it contains the longevity hormone, moisturises the organs, the intestinal tract and the wall of the tissues, and lubricates the joints of the entire body.

In this class you will learn how to relax the mind, mix saliva with Nature essence, the aroused sexual energy, and the energy of all the glands. Knock the teeth and activate the bones and bone marrow. Draw the Nature essence, the Universe essence, and all the glands essence to mix in the saliva. Swallow the saliva down to the Lower Tan Tien and turn into Chi.

This procedure will be used in all of the practices of Elixir Qigong.
